Valentine's Day Glam Makeup

Hi Beauties!

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you all are enjoying the day despite the weather. It's cold and rainy today in Austin. I'm ready for the nice spring weather to come back again!

If you're going out tonight, here is a glam look you can try out. You can also play down the look by eliminating the lashes, and keeping the eyeshadow more neutral. Here is the list of products I used to create the Valentine's Glam Makeup I posted on my Instagram. Make sure to subscribe to my blog so you don't miss out on anything, AND look me up on all social media platforms! You can find me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram under "@amylynbeauty."

1) Pacifica Coconut Water Micellar Cleansing Tonic

I discovered this toner at Ulta a few months back. So far this is a great toner for sensitive skin. I use this as the first step to remove any dirt, oil, and impurities before applying makeup. The scent of this isn't too strong which is a huge plus.

2) Rainforest of the Sea 4-in-1 Setting Mist

I lovvvvve this misting spray! It minimizes pores, reduces redness, hydrates, and sets makeup.

3) Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

My Ride or Die Foundation. This foundation is great for all skin types. It's a medium to full coverage and covers flawlessly. It's also a matte finish. Here's some facts about the formula:

*Long wearing

*Oil-free

*Oil-controlling

*Dermatologist tested

*Non-acnegenic; won't clog pores

4) Jordana Sculpt N' Go Contour Stick

so far I'm enjoying this contour stick. I do feel like I have to build up the coverage some, but a great product for the price. You can find it at Walgeens for only $4.99!

5) NYX Cosmetics HD Studio Finishing Powder

If you're looking for a great setting powder that won't break the bank, this is it! ($10) This is also their "HD" powder so you won't appear shiny in pictures.

6) Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

There are some great dupes for this product, but I just love this brand and this specific product. This product is waterproof, smudge-proof, and comes in 11 shades.

7) Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

I will never go with out an eyeshadow primer again! This primer dries quickly and sort of matte, however it keeps the eyeshadow from creasing and helps the colors appear more vibrant. (plus it helps the eyeshadow to last for HOURS)

8) BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel - 14 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette

I really love this palette. Not only is it affordable, ($14.50) but the colors are so beautiful and pigmented. These colors are beautiful on all skin tones.

9) Smashbox Cosmetics Trio Eyeshadow in the color 'vignette.'

This product wasn't featured in my Instagram video due to time, but these purple huges were the main focus of the makeup look. I don't believe this particular trio is available anymore. I had a hard time finding it online. Here is another great option.

10) Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner

I've used this eyeliner for many years. It glides on so smooth and lasts for hours! (this one is optional depending on the look you want)

11) Ardell Studio Effects Lashes in the style '105.'

Full fluttery lashes are so fun and pretty! I can honestly say that Ardell is one of my favorite lash brands. They are affordable and easy to find at your local drugstore or Ulta. (These are optional as well)

12) Wet N' Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte lipstick

I finished off the look with this matte lipstick by Wet N' Wild. Y'all know how much I love these liquid lipsticks! They have the best applicator and they glide on easily. This color is a pretty baby pink called "Pink Really Hard."

That completes the look. :) Thank y'all for stopping by! Have a great afternoon/evening!
